Three cheers for Jonus!

Expertly done once again Metaljonus, your work is magnificant. (By the way, I love the way you pan entire channels left and right for the tom-toms). Great solo technique, you're hammer-down pitch harmonics are very solid.

I can remember the last note in the solo that you seemed to hold out, this note could have continued a few more measures followed by a quick fade. It doesn't affect the final quality of the song in any way, it's just my personal critique (If I'm even in a justified position to even make such a statement).

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks man, I could have held the C out for a lil longer but I did'nt :P. Thanks for listening man!

Great energy

This is definitely one of the busiest DnB songs that i've heard in a while. The "epic melodies" starts when the piano's harmonic melody comes pounding in, great way of describing it by the way.

The guitar is mixed perhaps a tad bit too aggresivly in my opinion, but it doesnt make much of a difference because the melodies everywhere are great. Interesting bass synth, its very effective in the way it's used. Great drum loop cornandbeans, and overall well done. 5/5 and downloaded,

cornandbeans responds:

yay! thanks. I was looking for a word to describe it.. I'm glad it worked. :D

I was having mixed feelings about the guitar myself, I should probably consult one of you before submitting. :P Thanks for the review, 5 and download! :D

Very interesting, well done

I like the guitar melody quite a bit. It's interesting how simple things can sound so good, but somehow you made it all happen.

Nice ambience

I recognized this piece from the G9Core podcast, good job on this one. I tend to really enjoy ambient pieces, and this was no exception, nice work. Good chords for ambience,

UnrealClock responds:

Thank you I needed another review I think this is the only good thing I ever did, but next week that wil stop... hopefully.

Nice ideas, but syncronization please

Haha, yes! The beginning was pretty fun stuff (reminded me of an awesome workout video), but the furthur you listen, the more frustrating it becomes as things become out of sync. Specifically the shakers and the bass line. If you were attempting some type of syncopation (down on the off-beats), then it wasn't quite successful. Definitely sounds fun in some parts, especially "eh nooowww-one, two, three". Alright, good try AngryStudent, but in the future try to make things a bit more solid around the edges. If the timing was there, I would think this was an interesting little track,

nightvision

UnrealClock responds:

Yeah, I got a little careless that day. Anyway hope to read talk to you soon.

Well done, but is this yours?

This is an improvement "over the newer work" by far. Are yuo positive this is your music? If it is, then you did great, I hope in the future you spend this much effor on a song everytime,

nightvision

Jacque-de-la-morte responds:

No, this is not my music. One of my friends made it on his computer, but didn't want to put it on newgrounds because it loads it directly from your computer(if someone has hacked into newgrounds they can get your computer's code or ip address, I think that's what it's called). So I asked him if I could use one of his songs, and he agreed, provided that I only use one. And yes he is much better than I am.

This sort of thing isn't original work

This first bit of the song sounded STRANGLY similar to the second half of the intro. I would not consider this original work to be honest, I think you had better try "not remixing" an entire song if your plan is to only reverse certain sections. Please try to create your own melodies from scratch, i'm sure you can do it,

nightvision

Jacque-de-la-morte responds:

I would take it off if I could. I didn't just reverse certain parts of the song and am too lazy to finish the sentence.

Nice melody

You have some interesting ideas here, but I wouldn't suggest only using them to lean on. The sudden jump in pitch at one point made it obvious that it was simple manipulation of the a few chords. You may want to avoid that in the future, but like I said, it sounds like you have a couple really neat ideas here that I would like to hear mixed a little better perhaps. Good Try, 4/5

Too much gain, I can't make out a melody

The intense gain on this song takes an enormous amount away from the song. I actually stopped the song once just to check that my speakers weren't broken because of the sound they were making. Fortunately it wasn't my speakers, but before I can properly review this, you need to turn the gain down a considerable amount please,

Aenimus responds:

Then I did what was intended! Thank you for the 7's.

Very interesting, well done

Very focused ambient track, mood was consistent. Alot of the audio samples you used sounded like weapon effects, which is interesting because unless you focus directly on each noise you would never realize what they were. A casual listen reminds me of a mid 1940 nazi secret science research facility. "Gloam" is a very appropraite title because it's almost overwhelming in the way it produces an "evil scientific" theme. You may want to increase the gain for the quiet melody that loops periodically in the left channel, it would have intensified the song even more. Good job in creating a specific mood for the listener, there's not much I would change. 4/5

Aenimus responds:

I appreciate your thoughts on this piece, and what you imagined while hearing it. I was attempting to make something that provoked an uneasy feeling, and I certainly love your take on it! Thanks for the review, I feel special. (= 5/5 for the review, hehe.
